Hi everyone, I’m Susan. I am a 46 and a full-time college student - a senior. But I am also a wife of 23 years and a mother to five fabulous children, each one with special needs. One thing that I have found to be true about life is that it doesn’t always work out the way we plan for or expect. Sometimes life happens and we have to change course, and it is not always easy to be resilient and pick yourself up, pivot and move on with courage towards the next chapter of your life. This has been very true for me. But as I’ve gotten older, I have realized that it is those difficult experiences that have shaped who I have become. I am strong and resilient, and I can do difficult and uncomfortable things. While it’s okay to feel sorry for yourself for a few minutes in life, you must be resilient and pick yourself up. Life stops for no one, and we shouldn’t let our difficult experiences shape who we are or who we become. I have a saying in life.
Nothing worth having in life comes easy. In life you have three options.
1.Cry…
2.Cry, with a tissue…
3.Cry, with a tissue… But find a way to solve the issue
